On Monday, Pete Hegseth and Kid Rock went for joyrides in an Apache helicopter. Kid Rock also gave a talk to some military personnel in the Pentagon press room. Where are the DOGE boys? This is Waste: of military resources, the pilots’ time, and taxpayer money; Fraud: Pete Hegseth as Secretary of anything, least of all Defense; and Abuse: of the full faith and trust of the American people that their government leaders will conduct themselves in a manner that is mature, professional, responsible, and prudent.

Just a few weeks ago, Hegseth quashed an investigation into the unauthorized fly-by of Kid Rock’s home by two Apaches and lifted the suspensions of the pilots who flew the helicopters. With his actions on Monday, Pompous Pete gave his critics a two-fisted middle-finger salute. Hegseth was never qualified for his position; he is in over his head and he knows it. His bombastic words, despicable behavior, and contemptuous attitude belie his insecurity and demonstrate continuously that he is unfit for any government office, especially the one he holds.
